Veena Rao

I am involved in SAAFC in order to bring about positive change for our South Asian American Community that has supported me throughout the years and through many mental health-related challenges. As an occupational therapist, I often try to help my patients through such struggles and would love to support a charity that provides access and resources for this purpose. I currently work in the home healthcare setting and love getting to know my clients from different backgrounds and walks of life. I am also recently married and have two cats. I like to spend my spare time playing with my cats, listening to live music, or reading.
