The Healing Through Art Gala
SAAFC is hosting a Gala on February 25, 2023 to raise funds for our initiatives that will destigmatize mental health & improve access to care. Guests can purchase a ticket for $200.00 per person to attend the event (dress code: black tie optional). See our itinerary page for more details!

About the event
The Gala will feature three components, each designed to demonstrate how art is a powerful medium and coping mechanism to assist in managing mental health:
- An interactive art and mindfulness exhibit that will evoke emotion and empathy from participants in support of those in our community that are suffering with mental health conditions.
- An Art Marketplace showcasing artists of South Asian descent and allies of the South Asian community that create art to cope with everyday mental health struggles.
- A panel discussion focused on mental health and art involving prominent South Asian influencers, artists and mental health subject-matter experts.
